Miss Santacruz brings a combination of financial expertise and leadership to her role at DBD Investment Bank, which she joined in February 2023. Her strong foundation in finance is built upon a degree in Applied Economics and Management from Cornell University, where she complemented her studies with a concentration in Finance and a minor in Leadership.

Prior to joining DBD Investment Bank, Miss Santacruz developed her skills through internships at two prestigious financial institutions. At Nomura, she worked as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst in the Financial Institutions Group (FIG), contributing to transaction execution and complex financial analysis. She also gained cross-sector experience at Wells Fargo on the Credit Card and Merchant Services Co-Branded Team, expanding her expertise in consumer lending and deal execution.

At Cornell, Miss Santacruz distinguished herself through impactful leadership and a commitment to inclusion. She served as Director of Outreach and Communications for Professional Development of Women (PDOW), empowering women through skill-building and financial literacy programs, and was twice elected to the Cornell Student Assembly, shaping campus policy and mentoring peers. Her selection as a Dyson Leadership Fellow and Dyson Diversity Scholar reflects her dedication to collaborative, values-driven leadership. Guided by the principles of Servant Leadership, she embraces the philosophy that leadership is about serving others, leveraging her unique skills and perspective to create meaningful impact.

At DBD, Miss Santacruz drives impact beyond finance. As Head of Social Impact Initiatives, she leads programs that strengthen team engagement, partner with nonprofits, and enhance firm culture. In this role, she serves on the Junior and Host Board of the Coalition for the Homeless, mobilizing networks to increase fundraising and participation for New York City’s largest homelessness-support organization.

Miss Santacruz is also active in the broader dealmaking community. She serves on the Forward Committee for the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) NYC Chapter, shaping programming for over 1,000 middle-market dealmaking professionals through forums, roundtables, and exclusive events, further extending her influence in the industry.
